This episode has by far been the best this season and it is only going to get better.
Go Izzie and taking back her surgery I have to say one of the best quotes of the show was when Mark tells her that "Surgery is like the Wild West. Karev's a cowboy, you're not,"

Callie is so cute about her first date with Erica and goes to confide in Miranda, who suggests she regard it as a trip to a foreign country. Which I have to say was one of the funniest ways of explaining the down under!

I have liked Izzie this season, which I haven't been able to say
since season 1. I don't think I disliked any of her scenes this episode.

I feel the same way, part of me is like Kiss her already!!! but then I know it will be so much better when they finally get together after all the stuff they've been through.

When George brought the little boy into the OR, I looked at my mom and was like Wouldn't it be hilarious if he brought him into the wrong room, and it was the guy without the face?!

Then the look on the little boy's face made me scream because I knew I was right, LOL Then I laughed my ass off because that kid is going to need therapy like woah.

The dermatology thing with Cristina was a bit out there. Like someone else said, its not believable for her to sit there almost the entire show. The only reasonable explanation would to be to say she's still hurting from the Burk thing. If she is, it needs to be maturally explored instead of danced around for another season ( ... )

So is Christina's new "man" off the show already??
I agree about Bailey & Callie's talk, although I do think Bailey is closer to Callie than a lot of the others.

Lexie can definitely die or be removed!

I too thought the Cristina dermatology dept. story was a bit out there. I love Cristina and I cannot see her getting excited about Residents serving berry water. The Cristina I know and love would snark all over that and how could they possibly be real doctors or have self-respect, whatever, etc ( ... )

George passing his test was the best moment of the episode. I'm finally starting to feel that George is not a tainted and ruined character afterall. However, this whole Lexie thing is going to cause the poor boy some trouble. Lexie will end up making a stupid love proclamation scene or she'll admit it in private and everyone will know about her crush.

Kind of like how it went down with him and Meredith, don't you think?
Because this whole dynamic between them recently totally reminds me of
how George would fall all over himself to be there for her, but she
would only give him the slightest bit of attention. I'd hate to think
that the same sexual experiance between George and Meredith would happen
for Lexie and George.

I guess I'm in the minority because I totally bought the Cristina/dermatology story line. It makes sense to me that she would be totally down about her life and want something simple and easy and that's how she sees derm.
I mean, her social life has been kind of non-existent since Burke. McArmy dude was the most action she's had in ages and that didn't exactly go anywhere. Plus, we saw in last week's episode that she's scared of losing Mer to Derek. And then on top of all that, with the Chief's new vendetta on specialties, her career, the one thing she could always count on, is being disrupted. Hahn is finally willing to teach her but now it doesn't matter. And she got put on that seemingly lame case.
I just think that Cristina saw derm as easy and pleasant. And nothing in her life was easy or pleasant so it was nice to live vicariously through derm for a little.
