This is a good question: if your season premiere is double, you could use images from both of them ;)

What does "wide crop" mean?

Sorry to took this long but I was out of town.. wide crop mean something like the icon I made and I used as userpic in this comment. It is almost the opposite of the close crop. I hope this helps :)
