*claps*

"Kill Your Fear" is quite striking too. Sadly it's probably already a t-shirt slogan.

Probably, though I haven't seen it. I "coined" it about a year ago (and people claimed it was a hateful thing to say....).

actually won a Stoker, not an Edgar

I got the mental giggles, because in old Navy, a Stoker was the one shoveling coal to feed the boilers to make the ship steam.

The New Tribalism, thats more the New Demographic.. and the target audience. One only has to look at the ads on tv or where ever to see that. Where you have spokes-animals instead of humans so you can cartoonize your audience. Gangsta Hamsters to Lizards, with cheese lovin cheetas inbetween.

Not what I was speaking to, but that, also.

It's so funny when people try to hurl insults and it turns out to be a great compliment. I've been doing a lot of work recently that has forced me to get out of my shell and actually *gasp* talk to people. That work has reinforced my belief that we are all one tribe, and we gotta help each other out of the dirt so that we can all reach for the stars. That sounds corny as hell and trite, but I sincerely believe that. If a person holds too much fire to themselves, it burns them up. Sharing keeps the stink of corruption off. Your art has provided a dark, strange light for me, and it helped me find my way out of despair.

Thank you very much. If I have done that, my life is not wasted.

So you don't know your blood type? Well, good to know that we O-negatives can still take care of you. (Yes, I'm chuckling a bit. The local blood clinics never forget to let me know my blood type, as I'm donating at least three times per year because of my condition. The only club or organization to which I was glad to be a member was the sadly defunct Tri-ONeg Club, run by a local blood bank. By donating three times per year, all of its members got a big party thrown for them just before New Year's Eve, and even if I couldn't attend, I thrilled to getting my invitation every year.)

My doctor has it. It's on my birth certificate. I just don't remember it....

Well said.

Plus, now I want to embroider something with "Kill Your Fear".

I have considered making T-shirts. It's the best thing I have to say to the world.
