Years ago my wife and I had dinner at a Thai restaurant. After asking to be served from the "real" Thai menu the owner bought out a disclaimer and had me sign it. We became close friends with both her and her husband. I think the highlight of that meal was watching her children gasp as I chopped down on "real" Thai food.
