The most interesting bit of diet advice I've encountered is here: www.stumptuous.com/fuck-calories. It's made me a bit more chilled about eating/exercising and the approach is helping me on my way.

I'll check it out. I do tend to avoid actual dieting concepts. What works best for me is simply eating less of what I usually eat and getting more exercise, though the older and less inactive I get, the less well this works.

I'm of the opinion that calling a piece "black helicopter(s)" is always code for something--but it worked out well for the person who I first heard use it to avoid mentioning a work-in-progress, because she went on to do the ARG for NIN's "Year Zero" and is a Guest of Honor at next year's Readercon...

As I'm studying for a German final, I'd like to wish you a Merry Krampus, so on his behalf, Gruß vom Krampus.

Regarding crackers, you might want to try Wasa Crisp 'n Light 7 Grain. They have a different consistency than cardboard. They're more like Styrofoam popcorn. But they are crunchy and pretty good with soups.

And I really enjoyed the critters in your latest DHP Alabaster story. Looking forward to issue #19.

Danke.

They're more like Styrofoam popcorn.

You know, that's just not an enticing sales pitch.
