Very short entry. The beginning of my ongoing penance for having allowed The Drowning Girl: A Memoir to languish back in the spring. Oh, I know. The damage is done. But guilt is a very powerful motivator.

I am enjoying the Audible version of The Drowning Girl as much as the one for The Red Tree in that the voices in my head match those of the narrators chosen. Your books deserve no less than the perfect voices, in my (fannish) opinion.

I had to look up androphobic. I'm rather disappointed it has nothing to do with the irrational fear of androids.

For what it's worth, I loved The Drowning Girl, and I do my best to recommend it to anyone who will listen.
