"I walk with others in me, yearning to get out."

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than waste it wishing I had wings.Tomorrow will mark the four-month anniversary of the Tattoo. Which I still loathe. Because it's still blue-green, instead of black. Which I explicitly asked (and paid) for. And I've been seeing some beautiful black-work online. Tomorrow may, then, be the perfect day ( Read more... )

wiki has this to say (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tattoo_removal):
"Typically, black and darker colored inks can be removed more completely."
and much more, of course.
Which is good news.
I gather also, though wiki doesn't go into it, that sooner is better, and this is still a comparatively young tattoo.

Aunt Beast- please don't give up on the body art- bad first experience- you have a lot of skin left for better, amazing, soul-appeasing work- Yeah, we both don't believe in souls, I just mean sometimes when I'm showering in the morning I look at my arm and smile- my ink makes me happy. Holy fuck, this is part of my body- Yeeaa- Uuhh! Maybe it takes a few tries to get it right- we bear the scars of our failures-

I think we may be perilously close to you receiving the Tylo sculpt- please remember we are not palentoligsts, we are artists. Wow, what a great excuse... !

What's weird is most of the other tattoos in her portfolio look quite black. I wonder if there are strange chemistries in blood-this or blood-that greening the black. Bring on the ink! Mad as a tatter! Or you could hold out a few more years, get some epidural electronics implanted, and roll your own marquee.
