Yesterday was what will likely be the last warmish vaguely summer-like day of the year, and I didn't go to the sea. I sat here, gazing out my window. But that's okay. We're probably due another warmish, vaguely summer-like day in June 2013.

Just delurking for a moment to say how much I adore you and your work. I should probably say it more often but I fear each time it comes out more awkward than the last and I rarely have an original observation to preface it with (you know, like someone who isn't a smitten fangirl--or at least like someone who hides it better).

As for the Fay Grimmer Death March: That sort of pace is all kinds of not-fun. May all the power in the universe conspire to carry you.

I still miss Bloom County. And you're right, it was ahead of its time in many ways. When I re-read the old books, a lot of it still feels relevant.
