For the kickstarters I've supported I kind of look at the rewards as long-lost packages. They surprise me when I least expect it (I'm sometimes bad about reading the updates). Art doesn't happen on a schedule often. Our American culture insist that everything has to happen now, fast, faster, into obliteration. I just got a reward for one of the first kickstarters I supported (more than two years ago). When it arrived, I was having a shitting fucking day and it totally turned it around for me. It's more about the support to me, than the reward, even given that many are as incredible as the parent project itself.
This "Romeo and Juliet" -esque story sounds interesting, and as long as the deep ones do not sparkle (glistening is probably ok), I am sure HPL won't be too disturbed (in any bad way).

That said, I don't suppose you're at all interested in Lord of the Rings Online?
I gave it a try, but the graphics and interface were so awful - pure 2003 - I just couldn't do it. It's a game that needs a complete revamp and relaunch, stem to stern. Unfortunately, its player-base is so small, the game would never survive such a thing.
I am. The graphics aren't nearly as good as Rift, and the interface is...curious (like this game is determined to be as counterintuitive as possible). And I have more trouble with suspension of disbelief in the world of CoX (there's a line). But the RPers are GREAT.
I've long thought that turtles are among the most fascinating of the reptiles....
I sat here for hours trying to find the story that accompanies the title "Forbidden Love, We Croak and Howl,"
I have to admit that the first thing that came to mind when reading that title was slashfic of 'The Frog Prince' and 'Beauty and the Beast' Disney movies' main characters...

I had no idea you'd written a turtle book! I must buy a copy (I kept several species in college).

Pretty much. By the way, want to do another little Zoo piece for me, something very much like last month's article? For #77?

Of course, all I can offer in the way of RP there right now would be myself, since I haven't found any there either. :/

Surprise, surprise: I'll read that.
