I think I have decided. Yes, I think I have. I shall not miss making an entry - at least one (1) LJ entry per day - between February 13, 2011 and February 13, 2012. Hell, that's only five and a half months ( Read more... )

queer, ebooks, mars, awards, sirenia digest, secrets, subpress, blogging long-term, 5chambered, gender, bigots, grendel, titles, "best of crk" project

stsisyphus is a frakking genius, and has cracked the problem of the identity of X project.

The identity of Project X is enough of a puzzle that I'm not even going to attempt it. The bridge troll riddle from 'Blood Oranges' that you posted back in June was hard enough to figure out, and there was a lot more to work with...

I will just pleasantly anticipate.

Good for you.

I spent most of a day working that out.

1. Yes! I yearn for a volume 3" thick of your Mars stories and hope that one day...

Maybe a single volume. Maybe.

2. On a different note, it would be hard to do better than "Untitled Grostesquerie", in any case.

Agreed.

3. If there were a 50s author of pulp fiction with a pen name of Honey Badger, what kind of stories would she write?

hardcore lesbian prison.

I think you'd need a stable wormhole leading back to 1947.

I just have to say that I really enjoy reading your blog and I admire that you're keeping up with and extending the daily entry thing. I have no time to blog anymore, but when I did, I only updated it once every week or two, if that!

I'm a hopeless Romantic and a Luddite in many ways, but I am NEVER going to give up my lovely print books. I know it's fetishism (in the Roland Barthes sense of the word) but there is something, for me, much more tactile, direct, and profound about purchasing and reading an actual printed book than just downloading text to read off a computer/electronic device screen.

(And on that note, can't wait for your upcoming books!) ;)

The currents of history may flow whichever way they will. I will never abandon paper books.
