I think I was actually a little disappointed to awake and discover it looks like we're still stuck with the 2.9% of the earth's human population (200 million/3.9 billion) that Harold Camping promised we'd be rid of come 6 p.m. local time (which it is now long past in much of the world, ergo...). I am left with a question for Camping, though. Given ( Read more... )

My editor suggested only a single very minor change to ms. page 431 (out of 488 pages).

Never mind, maybe the world is ending.

Congratulations!

Photoshop pisses me off.

When it's only a resizing job, I've been using Apple's Preview program that's built-in to the current versions of the OS. Under the Tools menu there are options for some of the basic tweaking that photos require before posting. Much faster and leaner than Photoshop...

The third movie really was good. But I long for a prequel.

The third movie was a prequel.

I mean the prequel that would take us back to the beginning. A good, old fashioned mesoamerican horror tale.

Oh. But I think it would still beg the question.

Anyway, I think that's a bit above the direct-to-DVD mentality.
