My brother had one of these games. We sometimes used the board to play sci-fi games we made up since the bubble in the middle resembled a city/fortress under a laser shield or something.

And it's freezing cold here too! I've been trying to stay warm so I can get over a nasty bout of the flu. Results are mixed.

Just read Prayer of Ninety Cats, all in once, despite pressing work I probably should have been attending to... I really, really enjoyed it. It feels as though I did not actually so much read it as fall through the computer screen and experience it. Am now dazed in exactly the way I get upon exiting a movie theater, and spooked and awed. Those are all the words I have at this juncture to express my enthusiasm/appreciation because I really do have to do work type things, but thank you so much for the story. It is going to be reread more than once, I can tell.
