I didn't get my October issue of Locus yet but saw the Red Tree review listed in the on-line table of contents. I hope this will find you some more readers. Also I have a new October Reading display at the information desk at my BN store which includes your work. Your books appear alongside Anne Rice, Elizabeth Kostova, Bram Stoker, H. P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, and Joe Hill. I hope you get the chance to read The Angel's Game soon. I think you'll enjoy it. All the best forging your own New Way. I appreciate the art you share with us.

Are you going to move onto the Dead Like Me movie now?

It's worth it, at least for the closure.

Here's the way I see it. For the most part, I think the last episode, "Haunted," offers pretty good closure.

That said, I can't see watching a Dead Like Me without Rube, and wherein a different actress would be playing Daisy. Also, as I understand it, the production of the movie wasn't so much an attempt to offer closure as to relaunch the series.

So...I suppose my answer is no.

Amen.

Two things:

Speaking of movies. A long time ago, you and Spooky watched a movie;
a version of Little Red Riding Hood, which you thought was most amazing.
If I remember correctly, it was in black and white. Do you have any
idea what I'm talking about? Do you remember the name of the movie?

Honestly, I have no idea. Weird. I'd suspect The Company of Wolves, but it's in colour. I'll ponder this.

I know this is meant as a compliment and it IS a compliment.
BUT, me personally, I don't get it.

I do. But I can see how someone else might not. Anyway, it's a compliment that means a lot to me.
