Yesterday, I did 1,080 words on "Shipwrecks Above," which seems to be coming along well. I'll likely finish it today. The title, by the way, was borrowed from P.J. Harvey's "Liverpool Tide." I dare say... I watched a few episodes of Pushing Daisies and my mind would get stuck on one thing. Like the germaphobic character played by Brad Dourif in The Color Of Night, who couldn't touch anyone: couldn't the Pie Maker and Chuck have made good use of full latex bodywear? I kept waiting for it. It nagged at me to the point of distraction.

If you're a Bryan Fuller fan you should know about Wonderfalls, which is in my top ten, maybe my top five. And unlike the 22 eps of PD (which really suffer from both seasons being truncated unexpectedly), the 13 eps of Wonderfalls form a reasonably satisfying dramatic whole.
