A happy Lughnasadh (or Lammas) to those of you who mark this day as such. The wheel turns.

I hope everyone has received Sirenia Digest #20. If you are a subscriber, but you have not yet received your copy, email Spooky at crkbooks (at) yahoo (dot) com. And if you've had time to read the new issue, comments and feedback would be welcomed ( Read more... )

Have a good Lammas, are you doing the group thing or was that a one off?
And have you seen this (don't know if it's that accurate, personally I'v read around 20 of them)?

Just me and Spooky this year, alas.

I've seen a number of these. I find them peculiar and contradictory.

Well, knowing you're left out makes me feel a little better about being left out.

I haven't had a chance to dig into Sirenia Digest #20 yet, but I can't wait. They're always such a treat! I really look forward to them every month.

And oh, you have an Al Swearengen quote. I think I need to look up more of those. They give him the best monologs. The episode of Season 3 that ended with him signing alone while he wiped down the bar was great. His character gets better and better.

And yes, even with the univited guest, Loki's Absinthe House was much fun.

By the way, I posted links to the Lovecraft documentary over on Guillermo del toro's forum and it's generated an interesting discussion of Lovecraft and cosmic horror between the kids: http://www.deltorofilms.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1050
