Happy Beltane, if you are so inclined. I have lived to see another May. Another winter's gone.

Yesterday was all work, and today it's sort of a blur (thank you, dreamsickness). I signed the signature sheets for The Day It Rained Forever, and those should go back in the mail to England today. Then I did the Edward Gorey interview, which was easier ( Read more... )

This is the James Bond film I've been waiting for. I was already a fan of Daniel Craig's, and he moves through Casino Royale like the second coming of Steve McQueen.

Okay; I need to see this.

(I did enjoy him in Layer Cake. I have still not managed to see Love Is The Devil: Study For A Portrait Of Francis Bacon, despite the presence of Derek Jacobi and Tilda Swinton. I really have no excuse.)

I have a really helpful doc. that is a guide to writing screenplays. It is the best, most practical writing guide I've ever seen, so if you want me to email it over, just let me know.

It's very kind of you to offer. But by this point, I've read dozens of the things, have Final Draft loaded onto the iMac, and a very good mentor standing by to set me straight when I screw up. So I think I'm covered.

It appears in the anthology Weird Shadows Over Innsmouth, edited by Stephen Jones and published by Fedogan & Bremer (2005).
