Spooky says this is a day off. I haven't yet written the O on my engagement calendar, though. In fact, we already did some work that had to be done (sending the corrections on "Zero Summer" to subpress). But I am not writing. For the first day in twenty days, I am not writing

Two things, Nar'eth:

I first heard of the benefit for Sam Jones via cmpriest, who added that SubPress is accepting direct donations at subpress @ earthlink.net; I've made a donation that way.

Before hearing about that, I went comic book shopping and got more back issues of your run on The Dreaming. So I was thinking of you that way. (I'm looking forward to being able to read your whole run all at one go.)

And I hope the platypus isn't too ornery... (OK, I guess that's three things.)

You might want to let people know that Woeful Platypus isn't included in the sale, as it's not technically out yet. I found this out only after getting my invoice.
