First, a quick update to say that Sirenia Digest 10 has gone away to Gordon (thingunderthest) for PDFing (good and frelling proper will he PDF it, too!). If all goes well, I believe Spooky's sending it out late this evening. If not, you'll get it early tomorrow. It came to a whopping 33 pages! Not too late to subscribe, you non-subscribed gardas and nixars. Not ( Read more... )

Now that Kat has a job again, we'll be able to resubscribe to Sirenia... Next week.

Is there a way to get back issues?

I just payed for my subscription, needed to wait for pay day. Is it still possible to get the issue sent last night? I'd email you directly, but I'm new here and not sure how to. Thanks.

Excellent! Now I can add another altworld band to my LJ/myspace music interests. I've even made a few album covers for my own (above icon), but these were cool!

Any chance we can see some samples from Daria's catalogue?

"Untitled 23" is vicious and gorgeous and I hope there will be more stories in its otherworld.

I am really, really pleased with "In the Praying Windows." We should do this again.

I'm glad you like it. Truthfully, it disturbed me so much, having written it, that I'd not let Vince draw anything too graphic, too literal. He came up with the wings and the lizard.

We should do this again.

I shall be extremely disappointed if we don't. Soon.

He came up with the wings and the lizard.

Which actually works in the story's favor, I think-since it does not illustrate any of the really disturbing images for the reader, we're left to envision them for ourselves, which is always more terrible. You can always study someone else's line-drawing until it turns into component geometry and stops being frightening. It's hard to exorcise the inside of your own head.

Soon.

You're on.
