I'm presently much, much too sleepy to be particularly articulate, but I will say that I liked Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest quite a lot, even more than the first film. Byron met us at the googleplex, temporarily setting aside his vow to never again watch a film in anyway associated with Jerry Bruckheimer. Of course, my favourite part ( Read more... )

Of course, my favourite part of the whole affair was Davy Jones and his crew, and the Kraken. I suppose that goes without saying.

Yes. See my own initial and near-incoherent reactions. I could go on about that whole thread for hours.

And I was so enchanted by Naomie Harris' swamp witch, Tia Dalma, that she almost overwhelmed my notorous Jack Sparrow fetish.

Her, I want to know more about.

I'd definitely see the film again in theatres.

That chicken disturbs me. I don't understand the ceramic chicken fetish, but from all the ones I see at Hobby Lobby, it must be popular.

Ah poor bunny, society has robbed it of it's full faculties. If it only had it's right ear it would realize that escape was possible to the right, but alas it is fixated in the direction of it's only working ear.

Too bad.

Wonder who put that there, and for what purpose. I'd imagine that this was in the public park, correct? Art project maybe that stuck? Very interesting, whatever the reason for it's creation.

Ah, OK. That makes more sense, if it were on public land that would indeed be very strange. If it were I'd imagine that someone 'official' would have had it removed. Still very interesting, and I'd love to see a full picture of it if you ever happen by it again and remember.

"I think this pathetic one-eared bunny creeped me out most of all."

That bunny thinks you have his other ear.

He's coming over tonight to look for it.

Hop.

Hop.

Hop.

(Actually, the chicken looks like Diablo from Goats.)
