Spooky's posted some "in progress" photos of the Barker in her LJ. I am eagerly awaiting his completion, though Iggy and Sweet William understandably do not share in my enthusiasm.

Glad to see the plans to travel up north are being ironed out. I'll be keeping my ear to the ground for info on your signing appearance, as I'd love to finally get a chance to meet you face to face and have you sign my tattered copy of Threshold. Also, be on the lookout for an extremely belated birthday gift to be within your hands within the next couple of days. I sent it out last week and hope it makes it there soon.

I have it. It came a few days ago. I'd not even seen this book before, much less read it, and so I'm very grateful for the gift. Sorry I didn't say something sooner.

It'll be interesting, as I've not collaborated with anyone since Poppy and I wrote "Night Story 1973" in 2001, and I'm looking forward to it.

As am I. Between the science fiction and the collaboration, I am on terra incognita here. Yay.
