Blame the technology. Low-light concert photos will never, ever be the same since Kodak killed off their Royal Gold 1000 (and I think at one time they had a faster one too). Things always look grainy and blurry now without flash. And I don't like flash for concerts.

If you were using digital it's even worse... silly things are really greedy about their light.
