At about 6 p.m. (Caitlín Standard Time), I finally finished the first draft of "Bainbridge." It is done. Now I get a couple of days off, the first real days-off I've had in weeks. Caitlyn ~ have fun at the aquarium! I went to the Monterrey Aquarium this summer in California, and it was ~perfection~. Well, near perfection; the giant octopus was feeling reclusive, but many of it's smaller, more ethereal cousins were floating like ghosts in the water.

Yeah, that's the way it seems to be. I'm out on the edge of western Mass in Adams, about twenty minutes from the Vermont border, so we get lots of snow this time of year. In fact, we get lots of snow until about the end of April. But, still, with all of that, we get to experience the four seasons wonderfully, which you surely know. There's nothing like autumn in New England.
