Today is the 20th anniversary of this LJ, which began on this date in 2004. I was about to turn forty, and we lived in a loft in what once had been an elementary school in Atlanta. At first I didn't think I'd like Poor Things, but ended up really loving it. I agree, though, I wish the ending had been somewhat different. I was hoping that they'd put Dr. Baxter's brain into Alfie's body.

In any event, it was strange movie.
