Mostly cloudy today, as rain and cold spell bear down on us. The high today was 62F.

This afternoon, watching television I fell asleep for something like 35 minutes, and now I feel awful. I do not take naps. Ever. They are foul, foul things.

Barbie depending on the scene just made me wish I were re-watching Young Girls of Rochefort, Being John Malkovich or Inside Out, instead of something that gestures, not entirely charmlessly, at all three but has been clearly been studio noted into a fraken-film that can't settle on being any one thing. It's a shame because Gerwig's non-linear reworking of Little Women is a quietly remarkable thing and I adore her as a performer in Francis Ha and 20th Century Women. I want to root for her.

I en joyed Ancient Earth, thought the thought the one about people sort of rushed. Prehistoric Planet is on my to-watch list.
