A much nicer day today. Sunny, and our high was 65˚F

Though I somehow overslept and didn't wake until 7:30, I still managed to finish "Crotalus" this morning. I did 1,575 words, bringing the total length of the story to 9,872 words. I think the problem with Boyega in his Star Wars films is that he's never allowed to be written as a former Storm Trooper. Either that's on Abrams or Rian Johnson, or I suspect more likely, on various suits and producers at Disney, but on paper he's given nothing to dramatise his transformation from totalitarian footsoldier to rebel hero (contrast him with Nux from Fury Road who is given a completely convincing arc along those lines, but one that requires him to start out as a baddie)
