There's colder weather coming than I had expected, but this cold snap will be short. Thank goodness. Clouds this morning, heavy rain early in the afternoon, and then the sun returned. The high was 78˚F

The other thing is I absolutely loathe the way heavy social media use sands all the edges and idiosyncrasies off people who start out as compelling and singular centrist voices and rewards them for churning content about whatever culture war kerfuffle is generating clicks in the moment (whether they’re qualified to do so or not)
