So, last night was, for Birmingham, cold dammit, and it looks like tonight may be even worse. At least there was no "wintry" precipitation. The low last night was 27˚F, with a windchill of 16˚F. I find myself going back and forth from indifferent to intrigued the more of Archive 81 I see. (I think I'm at episode five, but haven't let myself look how many total there are for some reason.) We just watched Antlers, and I love the depth of the cultural backstory in the film itself. Good luck bearing the freakish cold weather. (And you're not the only one "driving around" through Google Maps. I did a deep dive into my childhood town and home that way not so long ago myself.)
