Still warm here, but it was a hazy, mostly cloudy day. Currently, it's 57˚F.

Today, we saw J.J. Abrams' The Rise of Skywalker, and while I'm not saying it was a perfect film, I did enjoy it quite a lot. I wish the pacing hadn't been so frantic, but when you have that many characters and that many subplots and you have to wrap up nine films' worth ( Read more... )

I agree The Rise of Skywalker did a lot to wrap up threads weaved through so many films over so many years. I guess I was more surprised at myself, for neither loving or hating it. Although I hadn't considered the point about Rose Tico - perhaps because there really was almost too much going on, at too rapid a pace, for it to register with me - and I totally agree with you there.
