I remember when 'nerd' used to feel like a dirty four-letter word. Okay, inside and out. The geekery tag made me smile, prompting me to look 'geek' up and see the primary definition - a person often of an intellectual bent who is disliked - sums up my entire childhood and several years afterwards better than I ever could. (And there is no shame in just having gotten a Funko in the mail, I tell myself. Or retreating from the world for any reason for a little while...including avoiding spoilers before going to the movies tomorrow.)
