She also states that Providence, Rhode Island is "not part of Lovecraft’s traditional territory." And at this point I just have to assume she actually knows virtually nothing about Lovecraft.

That was weird, that she offered a piece of wrong information so stridently. It's like saying London is unfamiliar territory for Charles Dickens.

But I really, really miss the days when I was so much less shy about speaking my mind on these matters.

I feel the same way. Mostly I think it comes from the feeling that no matter how good my reasoning, the odds aren't good anyone will listen. When someone is evidently comfortable asserting Lovecraft had nothing to do with Providence, what's the good in offering evidence of anything? Anyway, I'm glad Dinosaur Tourist is doing well.
