I've been watching a lot of TV lately, catching up on this and that. The second season of Ozark (Netflix) was very good. Sharp Objects (HBO) is extraordinary, and I recommend it to everyone. And there's Big Little Lies (also HBO), and it's extremely good, as well

I also think it warrants repeating: Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis were fantastic in The Fly. The opening scene alone is illustrative of their pitch-perfect chemistry.

As a young teenager my daughter thought Bride of Frankenstein was going to be a romance and I did not realize she thought that. She was excited to watch it w. us and became upset when it was not a romance. She is literal and thought the title had meaning and how cool the Doctor would create a bride for the monster. Later she read the book, watched the older movies, and forgave me for not thinking to tell her Elsa Lanchester did not fall in love with the monster.
