I miss the old pre-internet days when a creative person could be a vociferous racist but all their communications were channeled through their publicist which weeded all that crap out. I'm actually not being sarcastic.

Many boxes were packed. We got through all the paleontology books, which comes to a couple of bookcases.

I am very glad to hear the remaining books are going at manageable speed.

and I feel bad for the rest of the cast.

This was one of the reasons I did not object to the eleventh-hour replacement of Kevin Spacey by Christopher Plummer in All the Money in the World (2017), in addition to the fact that Plummer made a great deal of sense to me as 1973 J. Paul Getty; the only other paradigm on offer in November 2017 was Netflix's throwing out the entire production of Gore in post, which felt tremendously unfair to everyone involved in that movie who wasn't Kevin Spacey. Because film and TV are such collective endeavors, right now we do not seem to have a way of punishing artists who behave dreadfully while not also penalizing everyone else behind and in front of the camera, and I don't feel that "Well, she was willing to do production design on a film with Kevin Spacey, she deserves her work to be buried" is a suitable rebuttal.
