Sunny today, and currently the temperature is 78˚F.

Yesterday, I didn't write very much, because Spooky went out to take care of some errands, and an asshole ran a stop sign and broadsided her. She's okay, but the van is likely totaled. You have my condolences. I'm glad that Spooky is all right. Much better than it could have turned out. Here's to hoping you can obtain a rental vehicle in the meantime.

A few years ago I took my wife out for her first outing about a week after she had a hip replacement and we were slowing down for a light on Alewife by Fresh Pond in Cambridge and a Econo van rammed the back of our 2002 Honda. He hit us so hard we hit the car in front of us and our car was totaled. Luckily neither of us were hurt, which is a miracle. Sadly, the 2002 Honda only had 40,000 miles on it and after the insurance came through we bought a Honda Civic Hybrid 2007 with 85, 000 miles on it. It would up being a lemon and after multiple repairs we bought a 2010 Honda Fit which is great and still only has 23,000 miles on it because we both hate driving. I'm glad Spooky is okay and I hope you get things sorted out quickly. See if their company has rental insurance; I hope they do. I'm glad you weren't in the passenger seat. Peace and good luck.
