There really is no explaining how vile this sorry excuse for a June day is, I don't think, unless you've suffered New England's more sour moods. Pissing rain, falling sideways like tiny ice needles. Thanks for the photo, which looks like a mall; one of the only things that could be imaginably worse than tourist-traps.

It's 56* in NYC, and we have the heat on. I'm regretting putting my down comforter in storage. Still, not as bad as RI. Horizontal freezing rain is the pits.
