The stunted, leafless trees, most of the hardwoods somehow grown to precisely the same height, the bare branches raking at the wide carnivorous sky. It is the definition of anxiety, that place. An agoraphobic's worst nightmare raised by a power of ten.

I hope you can at least use that in your story, because it sounds horrible.

Thinking about your post to facebook that you mentioned last week...
I would think it would have something to do with memory as the "sinister" product, or perhaps the removal of one's memories in some capacity. Seems like that would fall in line with Echo and Narcissus.
