Tupelo was an amazing and terrifying story, I'm so glad to hear about Dancy again.

I went to order Filthy World, and it turned out that I already had it on order, so there's that. Good reviews are good! Reviews generally are baffling. I know the differences between things I like that are good, things I like that are ghastly, and things that are good, or bad, and just not to my taste. Rather like brussels sprouts, or pizza toppings. Not everything is for everyone. Do reviews on the Amazon or whatever help you? I will certainly post one if they do.

"soft-spoken supernatural tale of lakes, liminal spaces, sisterhood, and regret"
Sold! I always enjoy your movie recommendations.

Have you seen Osgood Perkins' first movie yet? The Blackcoat's Daughter - it seems to be getting a wider release this year, for which I am excited for him. Like Pretty Thing, it's also beautifully understated, extremely scary, and centered on female experience of the supernatural.

Congratulations on the good words from Publisher's Weekly.
