Congratulations on the review, Aunt Beast, as ever well-deserved; I look forward to receiving my own copy next year.

RIP Richard Adams and Carrie Fisher. You both gave me heroes. You taught me that both rabbits and women can be heroes.

The memory of both of them for a blessing.

At their best, these stories are sinister and beguiling in equal measure, tracing the border between fear and obsession and asking powerful questions about desire along the way.

Congratulations!

It would feel a lot more seasonal around here if it actually snowed. I have not had a single day of waking up to snowlight and going back to sleep. That is an important part of winter, right after waking up to snowlight and then having to drag yourself out into it.

I heard of the passing from someone at work last night, and the loss is just indescribable. It's like the year has been an incredible shift through loss towards something so unknown it's nearly paralyzing.

Tired. When I think of your work, my mind coughs up your short stories as movies. I can not recall a single written word.
