Overcast and cold today. Currently, it's 35˚F. But today will be longer than yesterday, and that matters.

Yesterday, I did 1,300 words on "The Sick Rose, Redux."

That last bit makes to much sense. It's just a millennial literalness, and inexperience. Did you know peanuts grow in shells? Did you know you can be sad, and happy at the same time? Blah, Blah, Blah. Waiting for flood.

To me, it implies that the reviewer believes there's something inherently different about F & SF lit relative to other forms of lit, and that's manifestly untrue.

Yeah, that's a decent review. I particularly liked the line "Kiernan's subtly haunting voice draws the reader in," Here's to many more good ones.
