Overcast and drear today. Currently, the temperature is 50˚F. I wish it would snow. Snow would take away the sharp edges.

Yesterday I tried to write. That's what I do most days now. Most days, I try to write. And yesterday, like most days, I finally give up in frustration.

Last night, we watched the Coen Bros.' Burn After Reading (2008)...

Oh how I loved that movie. Which I think was the first time we were to the Summerfield Cinemas here in town. I so need to see that film again.

And then we watched Harold Ramis' The Ice Harvest (2005), a neo-noir black comedy that somehow I'd not only never seen, but I somehow did not even know existed.

For nine years Canada has been ruled by an authoritarian thug. Not only has Harper devastated the Canadian ecology, but his representatives have stalled any progress on climate change on the world stage. Yeah, go to Canada, it will be the last thing you do. Think New Zealand.
