Sometimes when I walked my dog, I would pet the neighborhood cats. One group of cats would see my dog, and freeze. Another group would just ignore us, they wouldn't even give us a look. In the petting category, the cats would give my dog a look, then then they would give me the eyeball. You could tell the cat was assessing my dog, and myself. It must be a predatory thing.
