A chilly morning in Providence. We had a low of 44˚F last night. Today, the high will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 67˚F.

Yesterday, I wrote 1,251 words on the short novella that is, indeed, now titled M is for Mars, and I finished it. Finally. The "final" (prior to line edits) word count is 16,579 words. I began work on this story nine ( Read more... )

I read your column every day. ext_1285666 September 26 2016, 15:22:07 UTC
I don't comment every day because I rarely have something worthwhile to say.

I look at your Ebay and they are nice but I usually 1) either have them or 2) can't afford them.

It was cold this morning. Today I'm reading The View From The Cheap Seats by Neil Gaiman.

I read this earlier this year. It's a terrific read; charming, poignant and pure Gaiman.

I still Treasure your Journal ! oldfossil59 September 26 2016, 17:52:59 UTC
I know I just don't get a chance to reply, as in the past. But I always check in. Your journal has always been a wonderful window into your creative process. I remember all your troubles and pain that you suffered creating The Drowning Girl, and consider myself lucky and privileged, that you shared so much of yourself in the process. Stay well. And thank you so much for sharing.

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I'm also reading your journal everyday, as well as your books and short sories, all of which I find extraordinary and fun. I would gladly order stuff from your ebay auctions too if shipping prices to Hungary weren't exorbitant, but that's life. I hope that your writing days in the future will be effective, as I long for new weird stories from you. Have fun!
