It's downright balmy here in Providence. Currently, the mercury reads 49˚F. There's heavy rain on the way. But, at least for the time being, the horrible cold weather is behind us. I never watch any of the awards shows. They're to political. But I did watch on YouTube this morning Lady Gagas amazing 6 minute tribute to David Bowie. She nailed it.

I don't watch those type of shows myself but I certainly enjoyed Lady Gaga's tribute to David Bowie. It was solid. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I know this might sound "old", but most new music bores me, and most especially popular music. The current system of very few people writing their own music, and the musician's being studio hit writers is just boring and visionless. Even radio music isn't what it used to be. I know this is sort of an unfair generalization, but it seems to be a big dumb corporate music machine, more than ever. Poor kids.
