Howard Hughes Strikes Again

It's been twenty-two days since my last LJ entry. It's not like I'd intended to put the journal on hiatus. I skipped a day, and then I skipped another day, and every time I had a good reason. The good reasons were mostly, "I didn't write anything yesterday," and it's too fucking embarrassing to keep saying, "I didn't write anything yesterday." Oh, ( Read more... )

I feel like everyone should have one place they can go where they're guaranteed not to be bothered by the noise and physical obstacles of construction and repair work. Sometimes I find a general din the closest substitute I can get for silence. Good luck with your sleeping, I hope it improves.

Welcome back. Thanks for your Facebook comments regarding getting a copy of Oil-Dark Sea. I like the title "Heads And Houses" a good deal.

My copy (#16) of 'Oil-Dark Sea' arrived a couple of days ago. I love the dust jacket art, and that the title is only on the spine. A nice match to 'Two Worlds'. Thanks for the appendix - in browsing through it I found that I had to re-shelve a book from my attic bookshelf to the beginning of the CRK section in the den, explaining something you've hinted at once or twice.

My sympathies on the insomnia. I went through a long bout of it in high school. Ugh.

Any news on another Centipede book?

I still haven't delivered the corrected ms. for Mythos Tales (and we're still looking for an artist), so that's the hold up there. We've not even begun work on The Red Tree.

The first Centipede book was so gorgeous, I don't care how long it takes for the next volume if it results in another book of similar quality.

I'd love to see a few of your stories illustrated by John Kenn Mortensen.

I also had a little re-shelving to do, and wondered if you would talk a bit about The Crow at some point?

The collection is a work of art and I love reading my favorite stories from it.

And Away With You is a great title.

I've been keeping up on your Twitter feed-do you regard that a supplement to this, or something different?

There really isn't much to my Twitter feed, other than retweeting shit I think's cool.
