Sunny today, after two cloudy days. The clouds began breaking up yesterday, leaving us with a taste of autumn. And, though I am loathe to say it, after the broil of August - stuck in this stifling house with no AC - it comes as an odd sort of relief. It feels like autumn here, too, and I am finding it very welcome. The heat wave was not endurable.

Thank you for the recommendation for Cracks - it's 300% the sort of narrative I love watching. (Also, Eva Green.) And I had no idea that Ridley Scott had a daughter who was also in film. I'm queueing it up on Netflix right now...

I'm sorry about your having to postpone the move back down South; for the time being I do hope that the turn towards cooler weather continues to be a respite for you.

I loved 'Interstate Love Song' so, so much. A novel based on that would be incredible! We all need literary lesbian serial killers in our (reading) lives, right?
