Well, I wish my instincts were so fine tuned. I love such a broad variety that I'm sadly willing to try almost anything once, even twice. Sometimes this has been rewarding--I remember how much I hated Shah Ruk Khan the first time I saw him and now I'm quite fond of him. I also tend to think of Bernard Herrmann's initial refusal to score Taxi Driver because he thought it was going to be a movie about driving a taxi. But on the other hand, as I've been going down the list of Christopher Lee's filmography, there are quite a few I wish I'd known to give a miss, particularly the ones where the filmmakers decided they could give Lee top billing for appearing in two scenes.
