If the meteorologists are to be believed, yesterday the temperature climbed to 82˚F. It felt like it, sitting here in my office with the window open. It felt like proper fucking spring. And it still does today. We're at 78˚, though it's mostly cloudy. I have no complaints about this weather ( Read more... )

This entry made me grin. Good to hear that you're enjoying the weather.

Eva Green and Peter Dinklage are both eminently watchable. That said, Daenerys managed to appear in my dreams last night, while Tyrion has yet to do so. My subconscious appears to have chosen a favorite where my conscious mind could not. I'm okay with this.

I think Victor Frankenstein might be my second favorite character in Penny Dreadful after Vanessa. Feverishly existing in the liminal, solitary space between life and death that he yearns for even before he has created a creature to inhabit it and loathe him for it, and, for all his intensity of focus, unable to see it. (Sir Malcolm’s jawline gets an honorable mention).

Penny Dreadful is an amazing glorious mess. Eva Green is utterly compelling as Vanessa Ives and whatever lies inside her. Hell, this is a show that is making Josh Hartnett worthwhile.

I just started the second season last night and oh my, am I ever so glad to have it back.

So yeah google Eva Green nude. There you go. Penney is great fun, the tragic Frankenstein monster...

Screenplay.

Received and worked on assembling tonight out on the deck for the first time this year, warm, a life-sized Psittacosaurus sculpt. About 2 1/2 feet- .75 Meter? The face is amazing. I am determined to recreate the quills on the hips. I am thinking porcupine quills. You can actually buy a bag of them on ebay. Who would have thought they would be used in a Psittacosarus reconstruction? Me.
