At the beginning of March, I get horribly excited about the arrival of spring, only to be reminded that here in Quebec, we will not see the definite receding of snow until April if we're lucky, perhaps even May if we aren't.
To say that I do not care for winter in the north is an understatement. So here's to still dreaming of greener places.

I've found myself reaching for the Tried and True most of the time lately, too. I'm sure that there's good stuff out there, and hopefully I'll read it one day, but for now that's not what I want. Perhaps it's an after-effect of this miserable winter.
The photo is brilliant - if I didn't know that it was you sitting, the shadow is a perfect combination of just human enough and just amorphous enough to suggest...well, almost anything one cares to see.
I dunno man. I used to revel in the Jackie, but as I get older and more damaged by shitty ass people, I find her behavior less funny. I want to slap her up-side her head pretty often. But I still dig Thor. As long as Thor is there, I'm there. I've moved on to Dark Sails, and that is going to take my Jackie time. Well, until I run out of back episodes of Dark Sails. Matey.

With an ominous shadow, even. Since the groundhog made no difference.
I hope there's warmth for you before April.

I want to come up to Cambridge for the dinosaurs, and I may insist that happens within the next two weeks.
