The sun is back today, and so is the cold.

Happy Turkey Day. If you count from the Lincoln Proclamation of November 1863, this is the 150th American Thanksgiving Day. That's a lotta dead birds. Tasty dead birds ( Read more... )

This dude was patiently waiting outside.

He looks ready to stop any turkeys that might escape Fellini.

Just turkey, mashed potatoes & stuffing and, of course, gravy, on whole-wheat crust. It might sound disgusting. It might even look disgusting. But it's anything but.

It sounds good, except for the turkey. I wonder if a descent facsimile could be made with vegetarian turkey.

Today's little Google cartoon thingy is embarrassingly adorable.

Hehe. Vegetarian turkey can be very good. Especially when it comes in a bottle from Kentucky.

Vegetarian turkey can be very good.

That is, on principle, an abomination. The only thing that could be more foul is vegetarian bacon. I went through a period of trying to be vegetarian back in 2005. It actually made me ill. Like, going to the doctor ill.
