Work? I came up with a title, a title that's doing double duty for the third chapter of Cherry Bomb and for a new vignette. And I sent two emails. That was work yesterday

My mother did not approve of comics, and so missed the best time to begin comic geekdom, the teenage years. So I come to love them later in life. But, the more I read, and the more I follow the work of all the artist's involved, it is easy to see that those running the business are asshats or really, really clueless.
Thanks for the explanation of the Bast miniseries. I always wondered why it seemed to veer off in an odd direction in the last issue. Even so, I liked the series enough to pick up a couple of pages of Bennet's original art.
Bullet Girl? From the Seven Soldiers stuff? If so, that would have been interesting to see!

Well, it's cool that you got some of the art. It was good working with him.

I'd never, until this moment, heard of the Seven Soldiers. I've never read anything by Grant Morrison except The Invisibles. But know, this wasn't a superhero thing.
this wasn't a superhero thing. While I expect that you could do superheroes, I hadn't considered the possibility that you'd be interested in trying your hand at that genre. While your work and the superhero milieu both have strong mythic connections, to my mind at least they exist in totally separate continuums of the human mindscape.
I had my first my first seizure since June 1 (ah, the seizure diary), so the first in almost six months.
I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you're doing okay now.
And then I had six and a half hours of fairly excellent RP in The Secret World.
I'd been hoping to see you in Secret World again but you never seem to be on when I'm on. Now unfortunately it may be a long time before I'll be using it again as I've just been thrown out of the place where I lived and computer access may be erratic and restrictive.
And got a ghost cat from Ulthar.
Oh, nice.
If you've never read the last mini-series I did for DC/Vertigo - Sandman Presents: Bast, Eternity Game (2002) - you may now read it, in digital format, for only 99¢ an issue (there are three).
Cool, I remember liking that series.
I tried selling comics through Comixology but they never even sent me an e-mail saying they'd reviewed my application. I guess it helps when your work comes through DC/Vertigo.

So say we all.
I read comics as a child, then stopped before my teen years, and I didn't start again until I was about 24 or 25.

Any chance of a recap of how it should have ended?
That was twelve years ago. I'd have to dig up the scripts. Sorry, butI can't even remember; I did my best to block the whole mess from my memory.

It really was a nightmare. Though, in some ways, the stillborn Bullet Girl fiasco of 2005 was worse. Never mind the Death mini fiasco of 1998.

After six months, it caught me off guard. I begin to believe they're gone forever, and then.

But isn't that always the way?
It is, indeed.

No. It was an original idea of mine.
