Putting them down BEFORE they are asleep is the key. Sometimes I am too impatient to stand there and pat her for 10 minutes, or more accurately, my other kids are too impatient to leave me alone in the quiet that requires. We're getting there though!!! Go you! :-)

yeah i feel silly that its taken me five months to figure that out! i think before i was too quick to pick him up if he seemed unsettled, when just rubbing his back and being in the room is enough to let him fall asleep. i cant imagine having four children!! you amaze me.

I worked in a specialty childrens clothing store. What I had to learn is the sizing is just wrong. More than likely he should be dressing in entirely the "next phase" of sizing. Don't think he is abnormal or to big for his age. Actually plan if it's possible to buy a little large as this will give you extra use out of what can be relatively expensive garments. But right now your main concern is sressing him for the weather.

I'm glad he's easing up on you, I know you really like to keep the house up and functional. It's so fun to watch good parents have babehs. It's a real treat. I wish I had some of that Mac n' cheese : P

I've got dr. weil's cook book. it's what got me started just wanting to eat REAL food. i like him. and i like your outlook on the physical/amending diet thing. a fresh start. great idea.

and i'm oh so jealous of your two hour napper!

i love REAL food! and taking care of myself is definitely a priority. i struggle with it a little sometimes, because id really like to loose this extra baby weight. id really just like to be able to wear all my old clothes! but uh, i dont think my hips are going to get NARROWER . haha.

and the two hour nap? that was SO last week. noah has forgotten all about sleep!
